RuView

WiFi sensing platform

Signal above.
Inference below.

People disturb the radio waves already filling a room. RuView reads those disturbances from low cost sensors and turns them into room level signals.

No cameras and no wearables. What is captured is Channel State Information from ESP32 sensors, which is why the two halves on the right are kept apart.

What is measured

Channel state information

Illustrative trace. The disturbance in the middle is the raw material; everything below is read out of it.

What is inferred

Derived, with uncertainty
Presence
Someone in the room
Occupancy
Entries and exits
Vital signs
Breathing and heart rate
Activity
Walking, sitting, falls

These are inferences drawn from the signal, not direct readings. The project attaches uncertainty and provenance to sensing events, and states that its unified world model remains synthetic until validated on real data.

Where the readings land

Home Assistant

Published over MQTT, so the states live beside the rest of your automation.

Matter and HomeKit

Pairs as a bridge for Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa.

Local first

Sensing, history and automations run on hardware you control.
