Plain Markdown you own

The filing is automatic. The files are still yours.

Drop any source in and it gets read, linked, and filed into one connected graph. The output stays plain Markdown on your disk, which is the line that separates this from every hosted notes product it compares itself against.

Three verbs in order

Reads, links, files. The middle one is where the value sits, because linking is the step a human skips when they are busy and the step a graph needs to be worth having.

Plain Markdown you own

The description says it twice over, in the format and in the possessive. For a second brain that phrase is the exit clause: you can leave and the notes still open.

Based on a named pattern

The repository credits Karpathy's LLM Wiki pattern. That makes two projects on today's board deriving their design from one person's published notes.

Concept mock, not affiliated with the project. The three verbs, the phrase "one connected knowledge graph of plain Markdown you own", and the Karpathy LLM Wiki credit are quoted from the repository's own GitHub Trending description on 25 August 2026. The graph panel is labelled shape only: five generic nodes with no note titles, no counts, and no vault contents, because none is published there.
