Your data, already collected

A year of travel you did not know you had.

Google Location History has been writing your timeline the whole time. This turns that export into something you can look at, on your own machine, from a file you already own.

Why twelve cells

A year is the unit the description names, and twelve is the only structure that unit gives you for free. The grid was decided before any styling was.

Whose data this is

The input is an export you request from your own account. That changes the tone of the whole page: this is a reading of your record, not a service collecting a new one.

Concept mock, not affiliated with the project or with Google. The twelve bars are shape only and marked as such: they carry no distances, no trips, and no location data, because the repository's trending description publishes none. That description reads "Visualize your year in travel using your Google Location History (Timeline) data", 22 August 2026.
