Three adjectives, one distro

Beautiful, modern and opinionated.

Most Linux projects sell you configurability. This one leads its description with three adjectives and puts the argumentative word last. Opinionated is the load-bearing claim, and the other two are what it buys you.

A distribution that ships an opinion is making a bet: that the defaults it picked are better than the ones you would have assembled, and that the time you save is worth the choices you gave up.

01

Beautiful

An unusual first word for a distro. It puts the visual result ahead of the package manager, which tells you who the project expects to be looking at the screen.

02

Modern

The word every project claims, so it carries the least on its own. Here it reads as a promise about what was left out rather than what was added.

03

Opinionated

The one that costs something to say. It is a warning as much as a feature: someone already made the calls, and disagreeing with them means going elsewhere.

What this page does not say

No package counts, no boot times, no hardware support matrix, no desktop environment name. The trending description publishes none of it, so none of it appears here. Five words is what there was to work with, and five words turned out to be enough for a layout.

Concept mock, not affiliated with the project. The three column headings are the three adjectives from the repository's own description, in the order it wrote them.
